Lorna began her ballet training with the Sheila Ross School of Ballet, but her foremost training was at the Rothesay Ballet School, where she was among the first students under the tutelage of Sylvia Logan.
As a girl, she attended the National Ballet School's summer program in Toronto and has enjoyed many varied roles in productions such as The Nutcracker, La Filles Mal Gardee and Sleeping Beauty with Rothesay Ballet School and Gala Ballet Company. Lorna studied in the professional program of the Royal Academy of Dancing and achieved her Intermediate Level I (now Advanced) certificate.
Lorna has taught at many levels throughout her 30+ year dance career and returned to Rothesay Ballet School in 2005 to teach adult classes in Pilates and Conditioning. In addition to conditioning courses, Lorna now teaches some of the upper levels of ballet classes in both the recreational and professional programs - Grade 8, Intermediate ballet and Advanced ballet.
Lorna holds a B.Comm. degree from Mount Allison University and owns and runs Urban Landscaping Ltd. with her husband Neil.
